December 18, 2025 - Fort Myers, Fla. - On Wednesday, Dec. 17, the Pohlad family, owners of the Minnesota Twins, announced a new group of limited partners who would be joining the Twins' ownership group beginning in the 2026 season. Among those limited partners are the managing partners of the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels, John and Allen Martin.

September 18, 2025 - FORT MYERS, Fla. - Fort Myers Mighty Mussels' right-handed pitcher Eli Jones has been named the club's recipient of the Harmon Killebrew Award.
An annual award that was created in 2011 to honor the passing of Twins' legend Harmon Killebrew, the Killebrew Award goes to one minor league player from each of the Twins' full-season affiliates for outstanding community service. Recipients are nominated by the general managers of each minor league club.

September 7, 2025 - Fort Myers, Fla. - Due to inclement weather and unplayable field conditions, the season finale between the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels and St. Lucie Mets has been canceled and will not be made up.
The St. Lucie Mets finish the regular season with a record of 77-53, winning both the first and second halves of the season in the Eastern division of the Florida State League.
The FSL playoffs begin on Tuesday, with St. Lucie, Daytona, Lakeland and Clearwater competing for the league title.

September 6, 2025 - Fort Myers, Fla. - The Fort Myers Mighty Mussels lost 14-3 to the St. Lucie Mets at Hammond Stadium on Saturday night in the penultimate game of their 2025 campaign.
After a delay of an hour and thirty-nine minutes due to wet grounds, St. Lucie (77-53, 43-22) jumped on the scoreboard in the top of the first inning.
Fort Myers' (53-73, 25-36) starter Joel Garcia (0-4) walked the leadoff man, Mitch Voit, who scored one batter later on a Trey Snyder RBI double to make it 1-0 Mets.
