Jeff Smith to Lead Stone Crabs Coaching Staff in 2019

January 29, 2019 - PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - Jeff Smith has been named the sixth manager in Charlotte Stone Crabs history and will lead the 2019 coaching staff, the Tampa Bay Rays announced. The 2009 Florida State League manager of the year, Smith enters the Tampa Bay organization after spending 22 seasons in the Minnesota Twins system.
