
Flyers win over Goldeyes

Winnipeg Goldeyes News Release
The Winnipeg Goldeyes blew a 4-1 lead and lost 6-4 to the Schaumburg Flyers in the opening game of the Goldeyes three-game season-ending series.
All of Winnipeg's scoring came in the third inning and Schaumburg replied with four runs of its own in the bottom of the fourth inning to retake the lead.
Donzell McDonald was three-for-four and scored a run for the Goldeyes, while Vince Harrison had two RBI.
Stephen Flake took the loss for Winnipeg, after allowing five of the Flyers runs.
Dustin Glant went six innings for his 10th win of the season for Schaumburg. Brian McCullough tossed the last three innings for the save.
The Goldeyes and Flyers continue this season Saturday night. Winnipeg concludes its 2010 season Sunday afternoon in Schaumburg.
