Flyers Reassign Jeremy Duchesne To Kalamazoo

GLENS FALLS, NY - The Adirondack Phantoms, proud AHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, announced today that Philadelphia has reassigned goaltender Jeremy Duchesne from the Phantoms to the Kalamazoo Wings of the ECHL.

Duchesne, 22, spent last season in the ECHL, split between the Mississippi Sea Wolves and the South Carolina Stingrays. In 49 career ECHL games, the Silver Springs, Maryland native has a record of 18-22-7, with a 3.58 goals-against average, a 0.891 save percentage and 2 shutouts. Duchesne made his AHL debut with the Phantoms on March 28, 2008 vs. Binghamton and made 19 saves on 22 shots to pick up his first AHL win. He was selected by the Flyers in the fourth round (119th overall) of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.

Adirondack looks to rebound from their last-second opening night loss to Worcester as they host the Springfield Falcons on Friday, October 9th at 7:30 pm at the Glens Falls Civic Center. Saturday, October 10th the Phantoms make their first road trip of the season, heading to Syracuse to square off with the Crunch at 7:30 pm at the Onondaga County War Memorial at Oncenter.
