Florida Panthers Agree to Contracts with C Greg Rallo and G Dov Grumet-Morris

SUNRISE, FL - Florida Panthers Executive Vice President & General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has agreed to one-year, two-way contracts with C Greg Rallo and G Dov Grumet-Morris. Both players played for the Panthers' American Hockey League affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage, in 2011-12.

"Greg and Dov were both integral parts of our organization's success last season and we're excited to have them back on board for next year," said Panthers Assistant General Manager Michael Santos. "The experience they earned in the AHL playoffs will continue to benefit the organization."

Rallo, 30, ranked T-3rd on San Antonio with 22 goals in 2011-12, adding 20 assists in 72 games. The Gurnee, Ill., native added two assists in four AHL playoff games with the Rampage. The 6-0, 188-pound center made his NHL debut with the Panthers on Dec. 18 vs. Carolina, a 3-2 overtime win.

Grumet-Morris, 30, led the Rampage in wins, posting a 19-13-1 record in 2011-12. The 6-2, 205-pound goaltender posted a 2.33 GAA and .921 SV% in 34 games with San Antonio. The Evanston, Ill., native also posted a 2.03 GAA in two playoff games with the Rampage.
