Milwaukee Admirals News Release
Milwaukee, WI- Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has signed free agent forward Kevin Henderson to a one-year, two-way contract. In addition, Scott Ford, who played four seasons for the Milwaukee Admirals including last years as the team's captain, was signed by the St. Louis Blues to a two-way contract today.
Henderson signed with the Predators' ECHL affiliate, the Cincinnati Cyclones, on Feb. 1, 2012, but played just two games with the Cyclones before being loaned to Milwaukee for the remainder of the 2011-12 season where he posted 11 points (4g-7a) in 30 regular-season games and dressed for all three of the Admirals 2012 Calder Cup Playoff contests. In four seasons with the Ads Ford played in 279 games, which is fourth best in the team's history in the American Hockey League, recording 11 goals and 25 assists for 36 points. His 465 penalty minutes during that span are third best in Admirals AHL history.
