Montgomery Biscuits News Release
The Montgomery Biscuits have announced that RHP Jeremy Flanagan has been placed on the disabled list, retroactive to June 2.
Flanagan, 25, split the middle fingernail on his pitching hand and has not played cince May 26 in Mobile. The righty is 2-0 with a 2.92 ERA in 13 games as a member of the Biscuits' bullpen.
The Biscuits will not fill the open roster spot at this time, but the spot is expected to be filled tomorrow by third baseman Wes Bankston, who is set to rejoin the Biscuits in Carolina after spending five weeks on the disabled list with a pulled oblique muscle.
