
BayBears fall to Suns 8-6

JACKSONVILLE, FL- The BayBears led Jacksonville 5-0 early on Tuesday, but would end up falling to the Suns 8-6. Three Mobile pitchers threw in the seventh inning, which saw the Suns score four runs. The BayBears have lost their last six games, and were swept by the Suns in the five game series. Mobile Manager Gary Jones will try and pick up his 1,000th career win against the Tennessee Smokies beginning Wednesday.
The BayBears scored three runs in the second inning, on a two-run single by Juan Ciriaco and an RBI single by Vincent Sinisi. Both Sinisi and Luis Cruz had two hits for the BayBears. Jose Oyervidez started the game for Mobile, going five innings, allowing three earned runs on four hits. Jon Ellis (0-1) took the loss, after surrendering two runs in .1 innings.
