Flames Reassign Centre Paul Byron

Calgary, AB -- The Calgary Flames announced today that they have reassigned centre Paul Byron to the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League. Byron has been activated from Calgary's Injured Reserve List where he has been since February 14th after suffering a hand injury in a game against Dallas on February 13th.

Byron, a native of Ottawa, Ontario, has played 35 games with the Abbotsford Heat this season scoring six goals and nine assists for 15 points and 34 penalty minutes. Byron has played 31 career NHL games, 22 with the Calgary Flames last season. He has scored four goals and added three assists for seven points in his 31 career NHL games.
