
Bulldogs Sign Sebastian Collberg to P.T.O.

HAMILTON, ONT - Hamilton Bulldogs General Manager Marc Bergevin announced today that the Bulldogs have signed forward Sebastian Collberg to a Professional Try-Out Contract. As per club policy, financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Collberg, 19, played 35 games this season for Vastra Frolunda HC of the Swedish Elite League registering nine points (6 goals, 3 assists) and six penalty minutes. The 5'11", 185-pound forward won a Silver Medal with Team Sweden at the 2013 International Ice Hockey Federation Under-20 World Junior Championship while helping Sweden win Gold in 2012. The native of Mariestad, Sweden played 35 games for Frolunda in the SuperElit J20 in 2010-2011 and notched 44 points (21 goals, 23 assists) and 12 penalty minutes. Collberg was originally selected by the Montreal Canadiens in the second round, 33rd overall in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
The Bulldogs' next game is against the Oklahoma City Barons at Copps Coliseum tonight at 5:00 p.m. All 'Dogs games will be broadcast on Hamilton's Funny 820 (AM 820).
