Flames Carve Pumpkins for UNICEF

Saint John, NB – The Saint John Flames players, coaches and trainers have been possessed by the Halloween spirit. In anticipation of Halloween, they are carving pumpkins, which will be displayed at Harbour Station during Friday and Saturday's contests versus the Hamilton Bulldogs.

On Friday night, the pumpkins will be displayed inside the main entrance at Harbour Station. The pumpkins will again be on displayed on Saturday, however fans will have the opportunity to take the pumpkins home. Tickets will be sold on the Pumpkins during Saturday's game with the winners being announced during the third period. All the proceeds raised by the pumpkin draw will be donated to UNICEF Canada.

The 2002-03 season marks the Saint John Flames' tenth as a member of the AHL and as the primary development organization of the National Hockey League's Calgary Flames.
