
Knopp Reassigned to Dayton

Syracuse, NY (October 24, 2002) â The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have reassigned right wing Ben Knopp to Dayton (ECHL). Knopp, 20, appeared in two preseason games with Syracuse. A native of Calgary, Alberta, Knopp was Columbus' second pick, 69th overall, in the 2000 Entry Draft. The Crunch returns to action with two home games this weekend against the Hershey Bears on Friday, October 25 and the Grand Rapid Griffins on Saturday, October 26. All fans in attendance on Saturday will receive a magnetic schedule, compliments of Pizza Hut and WHEN-620 AM. Both games are set for 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473-4444, stopping by the Oncenter box office, located on the state street side of the War Memorial or by calling TicketMaster at (315) 472-0700.
