The Vancouver Canucks announced that they have assigned forward Fedor Fedorov to the Manitoba Moose.
This season, Fedorov had played in seven NHL games with Vancouver and recorded his first NHL point (an assist) with 4 PIM.
Fedorov, 21, began last season with Manitoba and registered his first professional goal of his career (Oct. 13/01). He finished with two goals and one assist with 6 PIM in seven AHL contests. The Moscow, RUS native played two games with the Columbia Inferno of the East Coast League and had two assists before suffering a season-ending eye injury.
