Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announced today that they have assigned forward Emile Poirier to their American Hockey League affiliate, the Stockton Heat.
Poirier, Calgary's 1st round pick in 2013, has scored 11 goals and added 17 assists for 28 points and 49 penalty minutes in 56 games with the Stockton Heat this season.
