Flames Assign Lane MacDermid to Abbotsford

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announced today that they have assigned left wing Lane MacDermid to the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League.
MacDermid played one game with the Flames since being acquired in a trade from the Dallas Stars on November 22nd. He played six games with the Stars this season and picked up a pair of assists along with five penalty minutes and was a +2.
