Saint John Flames News Release
SAINT JOHN, NB - The Saint John Flames today announced their schedule format for the 2002-03 American Hockey League season.
Flames fans will see all 13 of Saint John's Eastern Conference opponents during the 2002-03 regular season, including the Binghamton Senators, who will visit twice during their inaugural season. The schedule also includes two visits by the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, the Flames adversary during the 2001 Calder Cup Finals.
Saint John will play in 28 contests against their Canadian Division rivals - six at home and six on the road against the St. John's Maple Leafs and four at home and four on the road against both the Hamilton Bulldogs and the Manitoba Moose.
"We are pleased our fans will see all of our Eastern Conference opponents this season," stated Flames General Manager and Chief Operating Officer Stew MacDonald. "That variety, accented by a strong mix of our traditional rivals should ensure another exciting year at Harbour Station."
The Flames complete season schedule, including game dates and times, will be released in early August.
