Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announced today that they have acquired center Freddie Hamilton from the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for a conditional seventh round pick in the 2016 NHL Draft. The Flames also announced that Hamilton will report to their American Hockey League affiliate, the Stockton Heat.
