
Five Thorns FC Players Named to U.S. Women's National Team Training Camp Roster for October Friendlies against Colombia

PORTLAND, Ore. -Portland Thorns FC defender Becky Sauerbrunn, midfielders Sam Coffey, Crystal Dunn and Olivia Moultrie and forward Sophia Smith have been named to the U.S. Women's National Team training camp roster for a pair of friendlies against Colombia during the October FIFA window, it was announced today.
This marks the first senior national team call-up for Moultrie, who has competed at the youth level, featuring with the U.S. U-20s at the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. Sauerbrunn (216 caps) is back with the USWNT for the first time since April 11, when she featured against Ireland. Smith (34 caps) also returns to the roster after missing out during the September window. Coffey (4 caps) was in camp with the USWNT during the September window but did not feature. Dunn (138 caps) played in both friendlies against South Africa during the September window.
The USWNT will play at America First Field in Sandy, Utah on Oct. 26 against Colombia; kickoff is set for 6 p.m. (Pacific) on TBS, HBO MAX, Peacock and Universo. The two teams square off for a second time Oct. 29 at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, Calif. The Oct. 29 match is slated for 2:30 p.m. (Pacific) on TNT, Telemundo, HBO MAX, Peacock and Universo.
