
Five-Game Homestand Starts Tonight

Augusta, GA- The Charleston RiverDogs will travel to Lake Olmstead Stadium for the second time this season. The five-game homestand will begin with a 7:05 p.m. game tonight and wrap up with a 7:05 p.m. game Saturday, followed by Fireworks! Below is a listing of ballpark activities and promotions for the upcoming homestand:
Tuesday June 29th (7:05 p.m. vs. Charleston) - Two for Tuesdays, presented by Kraft Singles and Somewhere in Augusta, allow fans to bring a Kraft Singles wrapper to the Box Office where they will get a second ticket free with the purchase of one. Don't miss out on this great deal!
Wednesday June 30th (7:05 p.m. vs. Charleston) - Bi-Lo Bingo night! Upon entrance into the stadium, fans will receive a Bingo card to follow along with during the game. Winners receive great prizes from Bi-Lo! Wednesday's game is also Golf Night in the ballpark and local golf clubs and golfers will be out to enjoy the fun. The PGA is on board as a sponsor of "Play Golf America" night and will be bringing a hitting bay to be set up outside the gates to give small pointers to fans on their swing! Scott Brown, a local golfer on the Nationwide Tour, will throw out the first pitch.
Thursday July 1st (7:05 p.m. vs. Charleston) - Thirsty Thursday presented by Somewhere in Augusta and 95 Rock! The night's theme will also be a Salute to Dan Aykroyd, as July 1st is the actor's 58th birthday. We will have trivia throughout the game based on his movies, such as The Blues Brothers, Trading Places, Ghostbusters, and Driving Miss Daisy. Come help us celebrate an iconic actor!
Friday July 2nd (7:05 p.m. vs. Charleston) - The first 1,000 fans to the ballpark will receive a golf visor to celebrate the night's Margaritaville theme, courtesy of NBC Augusta and the Augusta Chronicle! A Jimmy Buffett cover band will perform outside the gates prior to the game and the staff will be dressed in beachy attire as well. The players will wear Buffett themed jerseys which will be auctioned after the game, with proceeds benefiting the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation. Feathered Friends will also bring live parrots to participate in this special night.
Saturday July 3rd (7:05 vs. Charleston) - Knology's Family 4 Pack Night! Families can get 4 reserved tickets, 4 food vouchers, and 4 hat vouchers for only $56, a $132 value! The last game of the homestand will feature a Fireworks spectacular at the conclusion of the game! The fireworks are made possible by NBC Augusta and the Augusta Chronicle. The stadium will be decorated in a patriotic theme and the team will wear patriotic jersey as well, to be auctioned at the conclusion of the game. Proceeds from the jerseys go to the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation.
