
Five Claws Pitchers Combine to Blank Renegades 1-0

JERSEY SHORE, NJ - Mark Potter shut the door in the ninth to preserve a 1-0 BlueClaws win on Friday night at FirstEnergy Park.
The BlueClaws scored a run without a hit in the seventh inning. Bryson Stott walked, stole second, and went to third and scored on a wild pitch, the game's lone run.
Aneurys Zabala (1-0) earned the win with two scoreless innings of relief. Mike Adams came on in the eighth inning and then Potter finished things off. With a runner at second and two outs, he struck out Mickey Gasper to end the game.
The BlueClaws have taken three of the first four games in the series with the Renegades.
BlueClaws starter Adam Leverett threw three scoreless innings, striking out three. Victor Santos came on in the fourth and threw two scoreless innings. He walked two hitters in a row in the fourth but escaped damage.
