New Hampshire Fisher Cats News Release

Fresh off a three-game sweep of the Trenton Thunder, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (13-7) return home to open a seven-game homestand beginning tonight at 6:35pm against the Reading Phillies (8-12). The Fisher Cats boast the top spot in the Eastern League's Eastern Division and, with their 13 victories, have already guaranteed themselves the best April in franchise history-regardless of tonight's outcome.

Speaking of tonight, right-hander Kyle Drabek (3-1, 3,80) seeks to become the league's first four-game winner when he is slated to pitch against his former team in the opener of a three-game series. The R-Phils counter with righty Drew Naylor (1-2, 4.86). Drabek's only defeat came at the hands of the Phillies on April 14, while Naylor's lone victory came against the Fisher Cats on April 12.

First pitch is scheduled for 6:35pm, and an Atlas Fireworks Showfollows the game. Radio coverage begins at 6:15pm with Mike Murphy and Bob Lipman on the WGIR Fisher Cats Radio Network. Tonight is Indian Head Athletics Scholar-Athlete Night at Merchantsauto.com Stadium.

The Phillies took two out of three from the Fisher Cats in Reading April 12-14, and that remains the only series New Hampshire has dropped this season.

Here are the other pitching probables for the rest of the weekend:

Saturday:

RHP Vance Worley (1-2, 5.23) @ RHP Randy Boone (1-2, 3.38), 1:35pm

Sunday:

RHP Phillippe Aumont (1-1, 3.32) @ RHP Zach Stewart (1-1, 5.02), 1:35pm
