
First-Rounder Archie Bradley Makes Second Home Start Saturday

SOUTH BEND - Archie Bradley, the seventh overall pick from 2011, will make his fourth start of the season this Saturday, April 21 at Coveleski Stadium as the Silver Hawks play the Beloit Snappers at 7:05 p.m. EST.
Bradley, 19, was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the first round last June and made his Midwest League debut on April 5 in Bowling Green, Ky. Through three starts, Bradley is 1-1 with a 1.13 ERA and 22 strikeouts in 16 innings of work.
On Monday in Lansing, Bradley struck out eight batters over five innings.
Baseball America ranks Bradley as the No. 2 prospect in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization.
The Broken Arrow, Okla., native features a mid-90s fastball and has hit 100 MPH several times in his career.
