Estero, FL- QB Chris Wallace is among a growing list of Florida Firecats making their mark in the league record books.
Already the single season franchise record holder in Touchdowns with 80 and yards passing with 3501 both set in 2005. He has begun climbing up the league career charts as well.
Chris has spent 5 years in the af2 playing for the Carolina Rhinos, Norfolk Nighthawks, Cape Fear Wildcats and the Florida Firecats. He also spent 2 seasons with the Orlando Predators in 2001 and again in 2003 playing in 19 games.
During his time in the deuce he has amassed 252 career TD passes and sits in the af2's #3 all-time spot. He has also attempted 1561 passes, completing 902 of them which rank him 7th and 8th respectively. The former Toledo Rocket has also thrown for 11,582 yards which puts him in the #7 spot.
Chris has already thrown 25 TD's and over 1100 yards and is on pace to break both team records he currently holds from last year.
The Florida Firecats picked up their 3rd straight win last week 47-26 against the Battlewings. The team heads back out on the road this week to take on the Tennessee Valley Vipers Saturday May 6th. The Firecats have a 2-3 record against the Vipers but winning the last match up 62-58 on the road in the 2nd round of the 2004 playoffs. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:30pm EST.

The Firecats will return home to host the Birmingham Steeldogs, Saturday May 13th at Germain Arena. It will be the Firecats 5th game against a divisional opponent in the first 6 weeks of the season.
