Firebirds' Third OHL Season Comes to a Close Saturday in Flint

Flint, Mich. - On Saturday night, the Flint Firebirds' third season in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) came to a conclusion following a 4-2 defeat to the Windsor Spitfires in front of a 'standing room only' crowd of more than 4,200 fans at the Dort Federal Event Center in Flint.

For the Firebirds, Ethan Keppen earned his 10th goal of the season, finishing as the rookie leader in goals. Hunter Holmes lit-the-lamp for his 11th of the campaign. Between-the-pipes, Luke Cavallin made 21 saves on 25 shots and concluded his first year in the OHL playing 31 games, the most of any rookie netminder this season.
