Firebirds Return Home for a Pair of Games this Weekend

The Firebirds return home for a pair of games this weekend on Friday and Saturday night! The Erie Otters and Mississauga Steelheads are in town and will be dealing with a Flint team that has points in four in a row, in six of its last seven and seven of its past nine games. Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Braeden Kressler leads the Firebirds into the weekend with nine points in his last four games and both team captain Zacharie Giroux and Chicago Blackhawks prospect Gavin Hayes are riding nine-game point streaks.

PUCKS FOUR PAWS NIGHT ON FRIDAY

The Firebirds start off the weekend on Friday with Pucks Four Paws, benefitting the Humane Society of Genesee County!

Bring your dog to the game for FREE by donating one of the following items: cleaning or laundry supplies, puppy/dog food, kitten/cat food, or cat/dog toys.

- Dog sections will be general admission seating in sections 16 & 18

- It is encouraged to bring a donation but If you would like to bring your dog and do not bring a donation item, dog tickets can be purchased for $5.00 at the box office window

- It is required that you provide paperwork for the dog being licensed & up to date on all their rabies, parvovirus, and bordetella vaccinations. NO EXCEPTIONS

- One dog per adult

-Please no aggressive dogs! We reserve the right to refuse any dog entry

If you are a season ticket member and plan on bringing your dog you must exchange your Friday, November 3rd ticket(s) at the box office for a ticket(s) in the general admission dog section. Or, if you sit in sections 16 & 18 and you do not wish to be around dogs, please bring your season membership ticket(s) to the box office and exchange them for a new seat.

MILITARY APPRECIATION NIGHT IS ON SATURDAY

Help honor the men and women who have served in the armed forces on Military Appreciation Night on Saturday!

All active duty service members & veterans are eligible to receive FREE ticket at the Dort Financial Center box office window with proof of service, courtesy of: Dort Financial Credit Union, The DM Burr Group, The View Newspaper Group, and Martin's Tire & Service.

Additionally, the Firebirds will be wearing specialty jerseys honoring our active duty service members & veterans. Be sure to stick around after the game for the post game jersey auction, benefitting Folds of Honor.

On Saturday, November 18, the Firebirds are throwing it back a few decades with 90's Night! We will be using a special, one-night-only goal song for this game against the Owen Sound Attack and we want you to help us choose it!

DORT FINANCIAL CENTER SECURITY AND BAG POLICY

Ahead of the weekend's games, the Firebirds would like to remind all fans of the Dort Financial Center's bag policy.

Bags, purses and clutches larger than 4" x 6" x 1.5" are prohibited. Single-compartment bags, wallets and clutches smaller than 4" x 6" x 1.5" with or without a handle or strap are permitted. Exceptions to this policy include bags needed for medical necessity and bags made of a clear material measuring no larger than 12" x 12" x 6".

Additionally, for the safety of our fans, at the recommendation of the security staff, added safety measures will be in place, including metal detector wanding of each fan upon entrance to the arena.
