
Gauvreau Scores First of the Season as Petes Beat Oshawa at Home

(Peterborough, ON) - On Thursday, November 2, the Peterborough Petes hosted the rival Oshawa Generals at the PMC. The Petes won the game by a score of 3-2, recording their third straight victory.
Jonathan Melee led the way for the Petes with a goal and an assist, while Jax Dubois picked up two assists. Cam Gauvreau scored his first of the season, as Owen Beck rounded out the scoring with his second straight game winning goal. Donovan McCoy and Sam Mayer also had an assist each on the night. Liam Sztuska stopped 34/36 for his fifth win of the season.

The Petes are back in action on Friday, November 3 when they travel to Oshawa to complete their home and home with the Generals. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:35 p.m at the Tribute Communities Centre.
