
Fire Defender Arne Friedrich Returns To Germany To Receive Treatment

CHICAGO, Ill. - The Chicago Fire Soccer Club announced Wednesday that Fire defender and German World Cup veteran Arne Friedrich has returned to Germany to seek treatment for hip tightness.
Friedrich departed for Germany Tuesday night to begin treatment with therapist Thomas Fennewald, who has previously worked with Friedrich over the course of his professional career. The 2012 Chicago Fire Defender of the Year has not appeared in a Fire match this season.
Friedrich is expected to remain in Germany working with Fennewald and will return to Chicago on July 1.
