The Reading Fightin Phils leave Erie without a win as they fell to the SeaWolves by a score of 10-1. Severino Gonzalez (4-6) gave up five runs, three for solo home runs in five innings of work. Reading now falls to 29-25 on the season.

Steven Moya gave the SeaWolves an early 1-0 lead off Severino Gonzalez in the bottom of the 2nd inning as he hit a solo home run. Devon Travis extended the lead to 2-0 off Gonzalez as he hit a solo home run in the bottom of the 4th inning. Erie extended their lead to 5-0 off Gonzalez in the bottom of the 6th inning as Jamie Johnson hit a solo home run with Devon Travis providing a RBI triple. Steven Moya hit a RBI single to cap off the inning.

Erie scored five runs off Mike Nesseth in the bottom of the 7th inning to take a 10-0 lead over the Fightin Phils. Erie starter Kyle Ryan tossed seven scoreless innings as he only gave up two hits with three strikeouts.

Nefi Ogando tossed a scoreless 1 1/3 inning in relief. Edgar Duran hit his second home run of the season off reliever Nick Avila in the top of the 9th to put the Fightin Phils on the board 10-1.

The Fightin Phils continue their road trip as they will head to Harrisburg on Tuesday to play the Senators for a three-game series. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 pm at Metro Bank Park. Hoby Milner (3-2, 3.88 ERA) will get the start for Reading.
