
Fiddler-Schultz Inks Two-Year Deal with Rochester Americans

Calgary, AB - Former Hitmen Captain Riley Fiddler-Schultz has signed a two-year deal with the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.
Fiddler-Schultz graduated from the Hitmen program after five seasons finishing his last season the team's point leader, posting a career high 75 points (31G,44A) in 64 games. The forward left his mark, being named to the WHL Central Division First All-Star Team and winning the Central Division Humanitarian of the Year.
"I'm very grateful and blessed to have been given this opportunity. It's something that me and my family have put so much work into my whole life and to finally see this result come to pass is very special for all of us." said Fiddler-Schultz. "I'm looking forward to getting into this great organization that has made a lot of positive steps in the last few years and to keep getting closer to my ultimate goal of playing in the NHL."
Fiddler-Schultz was drafted by the Hitmen in round seven of the WHL Prospects draft in 2017 and spent his entire career with the Hitmen. The centreman played 246 regular season games, and 11 post season games with the club registering 78 goals, 113 assists for 191 points. Off the ice, Fiddler-Schultz was a leader in the community spearheading various initiatives including his annual Fiddler-Schultz Fills-A-Ford food drive and Fidd's Friends program.

Fiddler-Schultz attended the Buffalo Sabres Prospects Challenge in 2021 and was a training camp invitee with the Los Angeles Kings in 2022. His AHL contract will begin with the 2023-24 season.
