Vancouver Whitecaps FC News Release
VANCOUVER, BC - Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced on Wednesday that fewer than 1,000 tickets remain available for Saturday's home match against Orlando City SC. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. PT at BC Place, with the match broadcast live on TSN and TSN 1040 radio. Tickets to the match can be purchased at ticketmaster.ca/whitecapsfc.
Last chance to purchase season tickets
This Saturday will be the final opportunity for fans to purchase pro-rated season tickets for the remainder of the 2018 season. For more information on all Whitecaps FC ticket options, fans can visit whitecapsfc.com/tickets or talk to a representative at the match in sections 215 and 240 at BC Place.
Goals, goals, and more goals!
This will be the 'Caps final match before a one-week break for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. The Blue and White have been racking up goals, scoring twice or more in every game during a five-match unbeaten streak, including a 2-1 road win at Colorado Rapids last weekend. Cristian Techera and Yordy Reyna continue to soar as both scored for the Blue and White, bringing their combined total to seven goals and three assists in the past four matches. Techera, who was named MLS Player of the Week last week, has had a huge impact when he gets on the score sheet. The 'Caps have an unbeaten 22-0-10 record all-time in the 32 MLS matches in which he has recorded a goal or assist, including playoffs.
Bring your bucks to the match
Saturday's match is the club's fifth annual #BuckUp for Mental Health fundraising campaign, and fans are encouraged to "bring their bucks" to the match. All funds raised go to Covenant House Vancouver and their programs for homeless and at-risk youth. This year the club is aiming to raise $100,000 and we need your help! Fans can buy a raffle ticket and enter to win a trip for two anywhere WestJet flies, or bid in the auction to play FIFA head-to-head with Alphonso Davies, among other unique experiences.
