FC Dallas (9-8-5, 32 points) hosts Real Salt Lake (9-9-3, 30 points) on Saturday, July 27 at 7 PM CT at Toyota Stadium. This is the second meeting between the two clubs this season, with FC Dallas earning a 4-2 victory over Salt Lake at Rio Tinto Stadium in March. The game will be followed by the FC Dallas Special Olympics Unified Team, supported by Globe Life, in their annual match at home as they take on Real Salt Lake!

Scarfers: Chip Dutchik, FC Dallas Community MVP (representing Special Olympics Texas) and Ramiro Lucio, FC Dallas Special Olympics athlete, will scarf the Lamar Hunt statue on the north concourse at 6:30 PM.

Homegrown Showdown

Real Salt Lake (7,799) and FC Dallas (7,477) lead the pack in homegrown minutes this season. Both teams combine for 47 homegrown players signed in the clubs' histories, which tops the league. FC Dallas has signed 26 - the most in MLS - with RSL close behind with 21. In their last matchup this season on March 30, a total of 10 homegrown players between both clubs saw the field with nine of them starting.

New Strike Partnership

The partnership between leading scorers Dominique Badji and Jesús Ferreira has blossomed in recent weeks. The duo has accounted for six of Dallas' last eight goals and both lead the team with six strikes each. Ferreira has also been a selfless provider, recording four MLS assists- two of them to Badji.

All Stars

Saturday will be Matt Hedges and Paxton Pomykal's final match before heading to Orlando to take part in the 2019 MLS All-Star Game against Atlético Madrid on Wednesday, July 31. Edwin Cerrillo, Bryan Reynolds, Thomas Roberts and Brandon Servania will also travel to Orlando to compete in the 2019 Homegrown Game pres. by Energizer.

Against Real Salt Lake

Dallas has been dominant against Real Salt Lake at home. FCD has a 13-1-3 record against Salt Lake when playing in Frisco, with its solitary defeat coming back in 2014. The all-time record between the two clubs is a little more even, and currently stands at 20-12-7 in Dallas' favor.

About Real Salt Lake

Real Salt Lake sits two points and one place behind FC Dallas in the Western Conference with one fewer game played. The team struggled early in the season, registering just one victory in its first six games. However, Salt Lake has been hot of late with three wins and just one defeat in its last five.
