Real Salt Lake News Release

SANDY, Utah - Real Salt Lake travels to Frisco, Texas on Saturday, July 27 to face Western Conference foe FC Dallas at 6:00p MT. Saturday's match can be seen live locally on KMYU and the KSL TV app and will be carried on the radio on ESPN700.

RSL enters Wednesday's bout having fallen 1-0 against Tigres UANL from Mexico's Liga MX in its first-ever Leagues Cup match on Wednesday. Eduardo Vargas notched the lone goal for Tigres in the match, firing a deflected shot that beat GK Nick Rimando from distance to knock RSL out at the quarterfinal round.

RSL travels to FC Dallas holding a 9-9-3 (30 points) record in the 2019 MLS regular season. RSL currently sits in seventh place in the West, two points behind Saturday's hosts. Saturday's match will mark the second and final regular season bout of 2019 between the two sides as RSL and FC Dallas have faced one another once already in 2019. FC Dallas left Utah victorious after claiming a 4-2 victory at Rio Tinto Stadium in late-March. RSL saw goals from MF Jefferson Savarino and DF Marcelo Silva in the loss.

FC Dallas holds the all-time series lead against RSL with the Utah side holding a 12-20-7 (43 points) record ahead of Saturday's match.
