5 Things to Know About #FCDvNSH

Fans In Attendance

Wednesday's match will be the first MLS game played in front of fans since early March. FC Dallas is limiting capacity to 26% of the building to 5110. Toyota Stadium will be divided into halves (Red Fan Zone and Blue Fan Zone). Guests who attend the matches will only be able to enter/exit the building and experience the match in their half of the stadium.

Fan Safety

In order to ensure fan safety in Toyota Stadium, FC Dallas has begun a number of health & safety initiatives:

You will see an increase in hand sanitizing stations throughout the complex as well as an increase in cleaning crews at Toyota Stadium. They will be focused on sanitizing high-traffic touchpoints throughout the match.

The building is cleaned thoroughly before and after each match.

We're also pivoting to a cashless and ticketless system. Meaning, all concession purchases will be done via a credit card. There will be no cash purchases.

All tickets will be mobile. There will be no printed tickets.

Security wanding will be done with magnetometers.

Fans must wear mask as soon as they're on property, this includes parking lots and anywhere inside or outside Toyota Stadium.

The only instance in which they can remove their masks is while they're eating or drinking.

Social distancing signage will be displayed throughout Toyota Stadium.

Franco Jara

New forward Franco Jara is slated to make his FC Dallas and MLS debut Wednesday night after joining the club from Pachuca of Liga MX earlier this summer. The Argentine was prolific in his five years south of the border, scoring 66 goals in 139 league games. Jara signed with FCD on a free transfer as the club's third Designated Player in the offseason.

Familiar Faces

Three former FC Dallas players - Dominique Badji, Dax McCarty and Walker Zimmerman - will return to Toyota Stadium with Nashville Wednesday evening. McCarty and Zimmerman are both former Dallas draft picks who each spent five seasons in Frisco before moving to pastures new, eventually joining Nashville for its debut MLS season. Badji was traded to Nashville last December after scoring eight goals in his season-and-a-half with FCD.

About Nashville

Nashville SC is one of two expansion sides that joined MLS for the 2020 season. A former USL Championship team, Nashville played two games (both narrow losses to Atlanta United and the Portland Timbers) before the MLS season was temporarily halted back in March. Former Dallas defender Walker Zimmerman - who recently signed a contract extension with Nashville - is the club's leading scorer with one goal. This will be the first time Dallas and Nashville face off in MLS play.
