FC Tulsa Defender Gabi Torres to Join Phoenix Rising FC Following Transfer Agreement

FC Tulsa News Release
TULSA - FC Tulsa and Phoenix Rising FC have come to a transfer agreement in which defender Gabi Torres will be making the move to the Western Conference side.
Torres joined FC Tulsa ahead of the 2022 season and made 23 appearances for the black and gold in his inaugural season. The Brazilian left-back/winger scored once and logged four assists, racking up three Team of the Week awards along the way.
"Today, I say goodbye to FC Tulsa with a heart full of gratitude for everything the club and city did for my family," said Torres. "I'm blessed for the opportunity to live my dreams and for the great friends I made this year. Excited for a new challenge guided by the grace of Our Holy Mary. See you soon!"
Torres will look to bolster both the defense and attack of Phoenix Rising FC and lift the club into the playoffs next month. Phoenix currently sits six points out of playoff position with four matches remaining in 2022.
