FC Dallas Unveils 2010 Regular Season Schedule

FRISCO, Texas (Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010) - Major League Soccer today announced the full 2010 regular season schedule with the FC Dallas 30-game slate featuring 21 Saturday games beginning with the home season-opener at 3 p.m., March 27, versus in-state rival Houston Dynamo.

The home opener with Houston March 27 will be televised on TeleFutura and is one of 10 FC Dallas games tabbed for national television broadcasts. Of those national broadcasts, four will air on TeleFutura, while four are scheduled for Fox Soccer Channel/Fox Sports en Espanol in the "MLS Saturday on FSC" slot. Two FC Dallas games will air on ESPN2. The squad's local television schedule will be announced at a later date.

Of the 30 scheduled games, 24 are on Saturday or Sunday with three Wednesday night and three Thursday night contests. Of the 15 home games, 12 are on weekends (11 Saturdays and one Sunday game).

REGULAR SEASON: The 16 MLS clubs will face each other twice for a total of 30 games per team. The 2010 MLS schedule features a two-week break - June 11 through June 25 - that aligns with the group phase of the FIFA World Cup.
