FC Dallas to face New England at the Cotton Bowl on September 30

FRISCO, Texas (Friday, August 14, 2009) - FC Dallas announced today that the club's September 30 match against the New England Revolution will be played at the historic Cotton Bowl as part of a special double-header that will also feature the Mexican National team. The match, presented by WingStreet, will kick off at 6 p.m. CT and will precede the final stop on the 2009 U.S. Tour for Mexico as the team faces the Colombian National Team at 8:30 p.m. CT.

This marks the first time the club will play at the Cotton Bowl as FC Dallas. Previously, the team known as the Dallas Burn, spent eight and half seasons playing at the stadium located in the heart of Fair Park in Dallas.

The match up between Mexico and Colombia marks the 25th meeting of the two squads. The last meeting was on August 22, 2007 in Denver, Colorado, with Colombia topping "El Tri" 1-0 in the international friendly.

Individual tickets for the September 30 double-header range from $25-$100. FC Dallas season ticket holders should contact their tickets sales representative to receive their tickets. Pre-sale tickets are available starting at 10 a.m. CT on Monday, August 17, for Visa cardholders through ticketmaster.com. Tickets go on sale for the general public on Monday, August 24, at 10:00 a.m. CT through all Ticketmaster outlets or by calling 888-FCD-GOAL.

FC Dallas (6-9-5) currently sits in seventh place of the Western Conference with 23 points and face defending MLS Cup Champions the Columbus Crew (9-3-9) this Saturday, August 15 (6 p.m. CT, live on KFWD-52).
