FC Dallas Midfielder Mauro Diaz Undergoes Successful Knee Procedure

FC Dallas News Release

FRISCO, Texas (Tuesday, May 13) - FC Dallas midfielder Mauro Diaz underwent a successful arthroscopic procedure to remove a piece of loose cartilage from his right knee this morning.

Estimated recovery time for Diaz is from six to 10 weeks.

The 23-year-old Argentine has appeared in 18 MLS games, including 13 starts. Through the first eight games of 2014, he scored three goals and tallied three assists, earning MLS Player of the Month honors for March.

FC Dallas hosts Chivas USA on Saturday, May 17 at Toyota Stadium with kickoff slated for 7:30 p.m. For more information or tickets, visit FCDallas.com.
