FC Dallas Defender Geovane Jesus Sustains Acute ACL Tear in Right Knee

FC Dallas News Release
FRISCO, Texas - FC Dallas defender Geovane Jesus suffered a season-ending acute ACL tear on his right knee during FC Dallas' training session on Wednesday, September 13.
The 22-year-old will now undergo surgery under the supervision of FC Dallas Medical Director Dr. James Walter and will begin rehab immediately.
In Jesus' first year with FC Dallas, the Brazilian defender featured in 19 games and played a pivotal part in FC Dallas' successful Leagues Cup run over the summer.
FC Dallas signed Jesus from Brazil's second-division side Cruzeiro through the 2026 season with a club option for the 2027 season as part of the MLS U-22 Initiative.
