LA Galaxy Defender Lucas Calegari Undergoes Successful Knee Surgery

LOS ANGELES - The LA Galaxy today announced that defender Lucas Calegari underwent a successful anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstructive surgery on his left knee sustained in the 2023 MLS Regular Season match against Houston Dynamo FC on Sept. 2. Calegari will be unavailable for the remainder of the 2023 campaign.
With eight games remaining in the 2023 MLS Regular Season, the LA Galaxy next travel to face LAFC at BMO Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 16 (7:30 p.m. PT; MLS Season Pass on Apple TV; LA Galaxy Radio, LA Galaxy Spanish Radio).
