
FC Dallas Defeats Austin FC 5-3 in First Win at Q2 Stadium

Austin, TX - FC Dallas (6-9-7, 25 points) defeats Austin FC (5-12-4, 19 points) 5-3 with two goals apiece from Homegrowns Jesús Ferreira and Ricardo Pepi at Q2 Stadium Sunday night.
Game Summary
First Half:
5' - GOAL (DAL) - Ricardo Pepi dispossessed Austin's Brad Stuver, and the loose ball fell to Jesús Ferreira who slotted the ball into the net from close range to give FC Dallas an early 1-0 lead.
9' - SAVE (DAL) - Jon Gallagher's cross was met by Sebastián Driussi whose first-time shot attempt was saved by Phelipe at the center of the box.
13' - GOAL (ATX) - Zan Kolmanic's cross from the left side of the field connected with Julio Cascante inside the box who headed it into the goal to tie the match at 1-1.
32' - SHOT (DAL) - Brandon Servania attempted a back heel shot that was poked away by Stuver's foot for a corner kick, following a cross from Jáder Obrian.
36' - GOAL (DAL) - Szabolcs Schön crossed from the right side of the box, and Ricardo Pepi's shot ended in the bottom left corner of the net to extend the lead to 2-1 and score his 10th goal of the season.
38' - GOAL (DAL) - Jesús Ferreira collected a loose ball inside of the box and smashed it into the top right corner to extend the lead to 3-1 for FC Dallas and score his second of the night.
40' - GOAL (DAL) - Schön sent a through ball to Pepi who dribbled into the box and placed his shot between Stuver and the post to stretch FC Dallas lead to 4-1 and score his second of the night and 11th of the season.
Second Half:
47' - SHOT (DAL) - Jesús Ferreira's shot from the edge of the box was saved by Brad Stuver.
53 - GOAL (DAL) - Jáder Obrian took advantage of the defensive mistake and placed the ball in the back post to increase the lead to 5-1.
54' - SAVE (DAL) - Tomás Pochettino's cross was met by Cecilio Dominguez's header inside the box that was pushed away by Phelipe.
59' - GOAL (ATX) - Sebastián Dirussi's through ball set up Diego Fagundez who poked it past Phelipe to pull one back for Austin and make it 5-2.
68' - GOAL (ATX) - Hector Jiménez cross from the left side was met by Alex Ring who headed it into the net to cut the deficit to 5-3.
78' - SAVE (DAL) - Fagundez' header inside of the box was pushed over the bar by Phelipe for a corner kick, following a free kick cross from Sebastián Dirussi.
