FC Cincinnati Foundation Opens Mini Pitch in Price Hill

FC Cincinnati Foundation opened its newest mini pitch at Price Hill Recreation Center on May 13, 2022. Cincinnati Mayor Aftab Pureval and community leaders joined FC Cincinnati Foundation and the Cincinnati Recreation Center for the opening. Children from the Price Hill Recreation Center participated in the festivities including a ribbon cutting, ceremonial first kick and soccer activities with FC Cincinnati players Beckham Sunderland and Calvin Harris.

This is the fifth mini pitch FC Cincinnati Foundation has completed since its launch in December 2018. Mini pitches provide a safe place for children to children to play and are an important element as we work to provide access to soccer.

FC Cincinnati Foundation's mission is to improve the lives of children through soccer. This is accomplished through four programs which focus around education, character development, and access to soccer. A grant program is also available to our neighbors in the West End neighborhood in support of community building initiatives.
