Charlotte FC News Release
CHARLOTTE, NC - Charlotte FC today announced a partnership with Sabor Latin Street Grill, a locally owned restaurant chain with 18 locations across the Carolinas.
In partnership with the Club, Sabor is sharing the proceeds from their Meal Boxes with Charlotte FC charities. For every Family Meal Box or Nacho Tailgate Box sold on a CLTFC matchday, whether home or away, Sabor will donate $2.
The Meal Box proceeds-sharing program will run from May through the end of the Club's inaugural season.
"We're very excited to welcome Sabor, a staple in the Charlotte food scene, into our Charlotte FC family," said Charlotte FC President Joe LaBue. "Meal Box proceeds-sharing is the perfect way to support our mutual commitment to the community and it's an initiative our fans can support both in and out of the stadium on matchdays."
Sabor operates a vendor site inside Bank of America Stadium on Charlotte FC matchdays where they offer tacos and empanadas.
"We are very excited to be part of Charlotte FC and represent our Latino culture with our food," said Sabor CEO and Founder, Dalton Espaillat. "Sabor was the perfect fit to be part of Charlotte FC's increased popularity in the Charlotte community because it aligns with our values and with our community engagement initiatives."
