Atlantic City Surf News Release
Atlantic City, NJ_ The Atlantic City Surf are proud to announce the first annual Father's Day Fantasy Camp at Sandcastle Stadium on Sunday, June 20th. Warm-ups begin at 9:00 AM with first pitch being thrown at 9:30 AM.
Before the Surf take on the Newark Bears, fathers young and old will dust off their spikes and oil their gloves as they participate in the three-team round robin tournament.
"We are very excited to have the twenty five dads out at The Sandcastle this Sunday," said Surf Director of Promotions Chris Ross. "We are encouraging the families to come watch their fathers relive their glory days on the diamond. This is the first year we have done something like this and we hope that it leads to more camps like this down the road."
All participants will receive a batting practice pullover, a Surf baseball cap, continental breakfast, four tickets to that day's game, a BBQ apron, and the opportunity to play at The Sandcastle.
Following the Father's Day Camp, the Surf will take on the Newark Bears at 1:35 PM. The first 1,000 men 18 and over will receive a free Surf barbecue apron, sponsored by NIA Group Associates. For tickets visit the Surf box office, call (609) 344-SURF (7873), or visit the website at www.acsurf.com.
