
Fans to Enjoy Summer Afternoons at the Ballpark

(OTTAWA) June 9, 2008 - As part of its dedication to the Ottawa-Gatineau community, the Ottawa Rapidz is pleased to announce that all Saturday game times in the second half of the season have been changed to start at 1:05 pm. Through an agreement with the Can-Am league and visiting teams, this popular time has been selected in order for fans to enjoy Saturday afternoon baseball.
The time change will affect the following games:
Saturday, July 26 vs. New Jersey Jackals
Saturday, August 9 vs. Brockton Rox
Saturday, August 30 vs. Worcester Tornadoes
Rapidz fans can now enjoy all weekend games in the second half of the season at 1:05 pm. All other games will begin at 7:05 pm, except for Camp Day on August 7, starting at 11:05 am.
The Ottawa Rapidz is a proud member of the Ottawa-Gatineau community. The Rapidz encourage all community members to attend the next home stand beginning Monday, June 16 against national rivals the Quebec Capitales.
