The Nashua Pride scored four runs in the first inning and never looked back, en route to their eighth win of the season. Starting pitcher Lance Stevens looked strong and improved his record to 3-0. Stevens allowed two runs, one earned, on three hits and struck out three in seven innings of work. Pride C Aregnis Tavarez led the way at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a run scored and a RBI. Nashua closer Andy Weimer picked up his sixth save of the season thanks to a perfect ninth inning.

The home crowd saw a thrilling finish as the Quebec Capitales' bats came to life late in the game and rallied from a 4-1 deficit to score four runs in the ninth and come away with the victory. Quebec 1B Eddie Lantigua led the way, going 2-for-4 with two RBI. Capitales CF Goefrey Tomlinson also had a nice game. He was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a RBI. Quebec reliever TJ Stanton picked up the win to improve to 2-0 on the year and reliever Jason Schutt nailed down the win in the ninth to record his third save. Worcester LF Scott Grimes was 2-for-4 with a home run in the losing effort.
