The Des Moines Buccaneers chase for the 2023 Clark Cup Playoffs rolls into the final weekend of the regular season, culminating in Saturday's regular season finale at Buccaneer Arena.
Des Moines wraps the regular season with a home and home against Cedar Rapids as part of the Dupaco Cowbell Cup series. The Bucs visit the RoughRiders on Friday and return to Des Moines for the home finale on Saturday night at 6:00 p.m.
It's Fan Appreciation Night, with a Fareway pregame tailgate including a free brat with game ticket (only while supplies last) and inflatable games from JP Party Rentals, from 4:00pm until 5:45pm, with live music by Brian Congdon. Tickets for Saturday's game can be purchased at tickets.bucshockey.com, at the Ticket Office during regular business hours or by calling 515-278-2827.
Des Moines currently sits in the final playoff spot in the Western Conference with a 2-point lead over Sioux Falls, but has not yet clinched a postseason berth.

One Des Moines WIN + One Sioux Falls LOSS
If the Buccaneers clinch the sixth and final spot in the Clark Cup Playoffs, the first and potentially second round games would all be played on the road, with the first round taking place April 24-26 with a best of three series, beginning Monday against the 3-seed (either Waterloo or Lincoln).
