Chase Cheslock, 18, of Rogers, Minnesota was drafted by the Lancers back on May 3rd, 2022. Selected 281st overall in the 19th round of phase II in the 2022 USHL Draft while playing at Rogers High (USHS-MN).
In the 2021-22 season, Cheslock, stacked 39 points (10G-29A-39P) in 28 games played while wearing the "C" for Rogers High. Placing that on top of the 12 points (2G-10A-12P) in 20 games he picked up with Team Twin Cities Orthopedics (UMHSEHL) earlier that year, the young defenseman averaged just over a point per game.
In the current season, Cheslock began playing for the St. Cloud Norseman in the North American Hockey League, skating in 18 games, and gathering three points (1G-2A-3P).
He then made his return to Rogers High and had himself another season of averaging over a point per game. The University of St. Thomas Commit grabbed 31 points (4G-27A-31P) in 28 games, guiding the Royals to an 18-7-3 record.
Cheslock made his USHL debut with the Lancers on March 17th, 2023, in a 3-2 victory over the Sioux Falls Stampede at Liberty First Credit Union Arena. Since then, the 6-foot-3, 205-pound defenseman has played in 13 straight games, notching five points (1G-4A-5P). With his lone goal coming with 3:15 left in the 3rd period on March 19th to force overtime against the Sioux City Musketeers.
The entire Lancers' organization congratulates Hrabal and Cheslock on their accomplishments this season, and wish them the best of luck in the 2023 NHL Draft.
