Spokane, WASH. - The visiting Dust Devils scored at least one run in eight different innings as they cruised to an 11-1 win over the Spokane Indians in front of 3,109 fans at Avista Stadium on Thursday for College Alumni Night presented by Vizzy Hard Seltzer.

THURSDAY'S TOP PERFORMERS

Freshly off earning an invitation to the 2022 MLB Futures Game, Rockies top prospect Zac Veen finished 2-for-4 and scored Spokane's lone run.

Shortstop Julio Carreras extended his hitting streak to eight games with a second-inning single and finished 2-for-3. The 22-year-old is batting .483 (15x31) during the streak to raise his season average to .274.

AROUND THE NORTHWEST LEAGUE

Everett (38-39) got a home run from a rehabbing Kyle Lewis in their 7-4 win over the Canadians (36-38).

Hillsboro (36-40) got seven strong innings from Luke Alright as they topped the Emeralds (44-31) by a final of 3-1.

Wednesday, July 6th - Spokane scored in each of the game's final two frames but couldn't quite put the finishing touches on a comeback as they fell to the visiting Dust Devils, 4-3, in front of 3,480 fans at Avista Stadium for Christmas in July Night presented by Wake Up Call Coffee.

Monday, July 4th - Spokane shortstop Julio Carreras capped off a perfect night at the ballpark with a three-run walk-off homer as the Indians stunned the Dust Devils, 8-7, in front of a sellout crowd of 6,854 fans at Avista Stadium for 4th of July Fireworks presented by R'nR RV Center &

Avista Stadium transforms into a galaxy far, far away. The night will include Star Wars trivia, character appearances, and a special Star Wars jersey auction benefiting Spokane Indians Youth Baseball. Stick around after the game for a spectacular fireworks show (weather permitting).
