Falcons Reduce Roster by Four

Fresno, Calif. - The Fresno Falcons announced today that they have released four players from their training camp roster.

Defenseman Chris Eade and left wing Jason Bloomingburg were released from their contracts, while goaltender Ryan Lowe and forward Magnus Toftgard were released from their training camp agreements.

Fresno's training camp roster stands at 26 players heading into the final pre-season game tomorrow night at Stockton. Face-off is set for 7:30 p.m. at Stockton Arena, and all of the play-by-play action can be heard on 790 ESPN Radio, The Deuce, starting at 7:25 p.m.

The Falcons open the 2007-08 regular season on Friday, October 19, hosting the Las Vegas Wranglers at 7:30 p.m. for an Opening Night Extravaganza, presented by Eye Q Vision Care. The first 1,000 kids 12 and under receive a replica Luke Curtin Falcons' jersey. Opening Night is also "Soccer Night in Fresno" and "Rally Around Citizens with Disabilities Night."
