
Thunder Trims Roster to 25 Players

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey LeagueÂfs Edmonton Oilers and American Hockey LeagueÂfs Springfield Falcons, has announced the following player has been released and is deemed an unrestricted free agent:
ÂÅ Nathan Fornataro (D)
The Thunder is carrying a preseason roster of 25 players and continues the preseason schedule in a 7:30 p.m. rematch at Stockton Arena on Saturday, October 13 against the Fresno Falcons. ÂgFanFestÂh presented by Comcast, KAT Country 103, The Record, St. JosephÂfs Medical Center and Valley Brew Restaurant, (open to the public) is Saturday at Stockton Arena, beginning at 9:00 a.m. General admission tickets for the ThunderÂfs only preseason home game can be purchased by calling the Thunder offices at (209) 373-1500 or visiting www.stocktontickets.com.
All fans in attendance at the morning session will have their first shot to pick-up their 2007-08 season tickets and mini-plans and are invited to participate in a handful of family-friendly activities such as Stockton ArenaÂfs famed ÂgFamily ZoneÂh located on the upper concourse, complete with bounce houses, interactive hockey games, ÂgLuther the Balloon Guy,Âh and more.
The Thunder is scheduled to conduct a morning skate practice session on Stockton ArenaÂfs ice, with seating open to the public. Following practice, all Thunder players are scheduled to sign autographs and meet fans in attendance at Stockton ArenaÂfs ÂgFan Deck.Âh Thunder regular season single-game tickets will go on sale at the Stockton Arena ticket office, beginning at Noon.
